Extremely nice Sunday lunch here. Will definitely be back
We had a family dinner recently which was very delicious food, but unfortunately my stay was spoilt by firstly not having access to the lounge due to staff training( although all the bedrooms had been booked by our party) Then when we could get in, the chimney seemed not to have been swept recently consequently both the lounge and the dining room were full of smoke. All my clothes ( and recently washed hair ) completely smelt of it!
The restaurant was very tidy and had an amazing atmosphere, the food was amazing and the chef allowed us to have food that wasnt on the menu. Would recommend 100%
It was OK, nothing special. My starter of charcuterie was badly cut - thick at one end, thin at the other. My daughters burger came with cheese on which was not as advertised. My shepherd's pie was a bit gloopy. The others in my group enjoyed their food though.
Very warm welcome from the general manager, very attentive and friendly staff. The food and service is Absolutely excellent. The finest ingredients are sourced and prepared for you by there excellent chef. Very reasonably priced I would highly recommend
