Good service, food is good can get quite busy every now and then
Went here for Christmas Dinner Party with family & friends (10) .Was welcomed warmly by the staff and the food was great! Only negative was that we were seated by the door and everytime it got opened there was a cold draft coming through.
Staff are always friendly and polite, even when the staff are rushed off there feet they are still smiling and laughing with customers. The food is absolutely wonderful, the atmosphere there is very relaxing, i always look forward to visiting the maldon grey and having their food....well done guys and gals that work there you're all doing an amazing job xx
Excellent meal..great value. Family pub does get very busy but worth the wait. It's not fancy but is comfortable. One of the few that offer a Sunday roast and good range of choice on menu. Would recommend,and will visit again.
Nice garden for children, food is standard pub food. Staff however could do with learning how to smile and some manners. Would probably visit again as the garden in summer keeps kids entertained but I'd visit a whole lot more if there was happy polite staff.
