Went to a party there on a Saturday night. Smashing apart from a foul mouthed idiot who upset a couple of the girls I was with and nearly made me leave, with others. I'm surprised at the staff allowing behaviour of that sort after dragging the place from the gutter when it was called the Royal Oak. He was shouting... Disgusting.... And totally out of order. He was only tiny too... Approx 4 feet high.
Hadn't been here since it was the Royal Oak many years ago - the sort of place where you'd see the landlord throw somebody out through his own front window . . . . It's really been turned around, always seems busy, serve an interesting selection of drinks (inc. Cocktails). Would recommend for a social drinking environment. Much improved, and one of the better places in Sudbury
