Massive portions one of the best rib eye steaks I've ever had cooked to perfection

1st visit so 1st impressions. Quite nice interior, busy with Christmas parties. The food was beautiful but let down by the service. We waited quite a while for our order to be taken and then for the courses. Yes, while I appreciate they were busy, they know how many have prebooked so should staff for that amount. I was disappointed and would have starred more.
Food was amazing! Sat by the fire and had a vegan mushroom and leek pie. So good! Really full now after dessert and coffee too!
Great food and great value. I've never been disappointed at the Saracens Head. The staff are polite and helpful.Can get busy at the weekends so worth booking ahead.They have a restaurant or you can eat in the pub area.
