Good shop for those different gifts
From 1st visit several years ago, was little disappointed with the amount of artefacts on display associated with Gainsborough himself. The whole of downstairs, seemed to be dedicated to gallery space and whole of top floor is dedicated to John Constable. It maybe several more years before I return. Disappointed!!! (however, we was very impressed with the Quince tree in the garden)
Excellent art museum with lots of paintings and information about them and the artist. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.
Slightly disappointing due to the lack of significant works. Does a good job of explaining his life and the genesis of his works. Too much space given over to other artists though.
Lovely little museum and people in charge are always happy to help. They went out of their way to contribute/assist my daughter in her school's project! Brilliant.
