If I could give the Sudbury branch of Carpetright zero stars, I would. Their customer service has been appalling, and I would advise anyone looking to buy a new carpet to shop elsewhere. We bought a new bedroom carpet on the 15th, and were charged an eleven pound 'fitting administration' fee. On the 18th, we received a call from Carpetright asking if we could change the fitting day. We informed them that this wasn't possible, as someone was taking time off work to be in all day for when the carpet fitters arrived. New bedroom furniture had also been ordered to arrive that same day. We received verbal confirmation that the carpet would be fitted as scheduled. But Carpetright's fitters never showed up. When we enquired about the carpet, we were informed that we had been crossed out of their diary. And that was it. No offer to reschedule; no explanation as to what had happened. We asked for a refund, and will look elsewhere. We had been looking to replace several carpets in the house over the next couple of years. We will not be getting them from Carpetright.
