I recently moved and having organised everything felt it would be smooth. Unfortunately, I was let down on the day from a different removal company. I was therefore left with items that needed to be moved on that day. Panicking I called to explain the situation and was relieved when I was told not only they could help me but were happy to do so. The items were moved efficiently and at a very good price. So very friendly and helpful throughout. They were careful to ensure nothing was damaged. I will be recommending them to everyone. Stuart, Steve and Peter helped us move yesterday. Stuart came over and gave us an estimate but explained it was an hourly rate and could be a bit cheaper or more expensive depending on how long it takes. It ended up taking longer, and therefore more expensive, however we were happy to pay for this since our loft had so much stuff in and watching Stuart and the team work, they were not slacking at all. Also we moved into a 3 storey house so some extra time was taken because of that. Stuart helped out supplying cardboard boxes for a reasonable price plus some free, laying a carpet protector down that I had bought and taking a few bits of furniture apart for us. Overall they were very professional, we were very happy with the service and would (and will) recommend them to friends and family. My only suggestion would be to put the quote/invoice in writing.
