Had a family afternoon tea yesterday. Sat at a window table with the world going by and tucked into fresh sandwiches, big well made scones and followed with a good cake choice. All drink varieties you would want. Made to feel very welcome by owner and daughter. Give the big names a miss and enjoy!
Could not fault this place. Six of us booked for a special event. The owner bakes and makes everything herself, we had 4 vegetarians, 1 meat eater and 1 vegan and everyone was catered for. The service was quick and the food was amazing. The scones were absolutely incredible! All staff were lovely. Could not believe a vegan afternoon tea was offered and I still got beautiful sandwiches, two different types of scones (including a fake cheese one) and a choice of cakes!!! Cant stop telling people about this place! Very good food and a cute tea shop.
The food was delicious and service was very good. Excellent options for coeliacs. Highly recommended and will definitely return.
To be honest l, I didn't realise it had changed hands. What a lovely surprise! Beautiful tea room, gorgeous ladies and lovely atmosphere. I'm so happy I found it today, will definitely go again. Thank you. ( lady with the application form!)
Popped in for a cheeky tea and scone with my little girl. Wonderful place, friendly service and excellent scones. Will definitely come again.
